Its hard to believe we are in November!!

This year has thrown up all kinds of challenges in every aspect of our lives.  Its hard to avoid the COVID debate and arguments both online and on the TV, but for my own sanity I do keep it to a minimum. 

For Suzie Mahony Designs my business has changed focus with the restrictions on weddings and race meetings.  It has been a very different year without designing for my racing clients who just love those Best Dressed events all over the country. All we could do was look at our memories and hope for the future!!

 

 

I decided to develop my website and use the time to promote my jewellery and everday hat designs and also add extra workshop opportunities for my Transition Year Schools programme.

I really love teaching the students and I think it is so important to help give them as many skills as we can.  Both boys and girls tap into their creativity, for most it is their first opportunity to sew or work with millinery.

This month with the restrictions I am like every other Irish Business trying to encourage people to buy irish and shop local.  There are lots of lovely gift ideas on my website from beatiful felt everyday hats, handmade neckpieces and jewellery options.
